Voice Services Leader Deploys Session Border Controllers for Reliable, Media-Rich Communications
PARSIPPANY, NJ – August 15, 2013 – Dialogic Inc. (OTCQB:DLGC), the Network Fuel™ company, today announced that Brightlink Communications selected and implemented Dialogic session border controllers (SBCs) that included gateway functionality to enable the delivery of media-rich communications and uninterrupted service for a wide array of wireless providers among disparate networks. Dialogic’s SBCs helped the Atlanta-based voice services provider improve operations and customer service by seamlessly interconnecting to TDM networks, resulting in new business deals, better call quality and significant reductions in operational costs.
Brightlink Communications wanted to improve voice quality and reliably send multimedia traffic for its enterprise and carrier customers. The company deployed Dialogic® BorderNet™ 2020 SBCs to energize TDM to IP interconnection and facilitate SS7 protocol connectivity for advanced calling capability. These Dialogic solutions helped Brightlink improve traffic performance measures compared to its prior solution. The company now manages more than two billion minutes of customer capacity across its BorderNet 2020 SBCs, representing over a quarter of Brightlink’s North American service. The BorderNet 2020 SBCs also played a critical role in providing Brightlink transcoding and interoperability to handle faxing, and established reliable traffic service among carriers and wholesalers. Thanks to the Dialogic solutions, Brightlink can now better serve unique call scenarios and call loads, which has led to several new customer deals as well as improved efficiency.
