Live demonstrations to show PowerMedia XMS within cognitive agent customer experience
Parsippany, NJ, October 26, 2016 - Dialogic, a cloud-optimized applications and infrastructure solutions provider for service providers, enterprises, and developers announced today that that the company will be participating in IBM World of Watson, acting as an integral part of a live demonstration showing cognitive customer experience applications based on Dialogic® PowerMedia® XMS.
The demonstration is part of a session titled “So You Want to Talk to Watson? Just Give It a Call!” presented by Brian Pulito, Senior Technical Member at IBM. During the session, Brian will show how financial service companies can leverage IBM Watson's real-time voice interface to replace aging interactive voice response (IVR) systems with self-service cognitive agents, or provide live agents with real-time voice analytics to better service their customers. The demonstration is scheduled for Wednesday, October 26th from 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM (PDT) at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, in room Islander G, Session ID: 1214A.
Dialogic PowerMedia XMS enables the demonstration by facilitating a live-agent WebRTC session, providing an interface between the WebRTC session and IBM’s Watson Speech-to-Text engine, performing conversion of voice codecs in real-time (also known as transcoding).
