Information Security is the process of allowing appropriate access to the information on a computer or computer network. The CIA definition of secure information: information is secure if, and only if, all parts of the information retain the properties of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The dictionary defines Information Security as the state of being protected against the unauthorized use of information, especially electronic data, or the measures taken to achieve this.
