Dialogic Services report system has not rebooted

Symptom:

Both Dialogic® System Release 6.0 PCI for Windows® and Dialogic® PowerMedia™ HMP for Windows require a reboot after installation.  Until this reboot occurs, the system will not allow you to start the DCM or start the Dialogic Services.  If the system reports this error even after a reboot, the instructions in this article will remove the check for a reboot.

Reason for the problem:

This problem should not occur in a normally running system.  If this occurs, it may indicate a problem with the Dialogic install or with the Windows operating system.  This article may not resolve every condition in which the symptoms occur, but can be used to isolate the cause for the general failure.  If the symptoms occur, please ensure that the version of Windows is supported by the System Release you have installed.

Solution:

Remove the registry key that is responsible for the OS check for reboot. Follow these steps to remove the registry key:

1-Launch RegEdit via RUN Window or CMD Window

2-Go to the following registry key..

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Note\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce\DlgcNotRebooted

3-Delete this key.

NOTE: Removing this registry key “DlgcNotRebooted” from your registry will successfully allow the Dialogic Services to start after installations and uninstallations reboots. This should NOT be used to simply bypass the check for reboot.
