Hunting Option not updated

Symptom:

Outgoing calls on the Dialogc® IMG 1010 Integrated Media Gateway (IMG) do not hunt channels according to the Hunting Option setting in Dialogic® Gate Control Element Management System (GCEMS) ClientView. 

Changing the Hunting Option setting and then selecting the Update Resource button under the Channel Group object has no effect. 

Right clicking on the Channel Group and selecting Update Resource Table from the drop down list also has no effect.

Reason for the issue:

The Update Resource Table button in ClientView is intended to download any Channel Group changes to the IMG, which should immediately reflect those changes in subsequent calls.   In the case of changing the Channel Group Hunting Option, no change in hunting pattern occurs:


 


Fix

The functionality for this button is scheduled to be implemented in GCEMS software version 10.5.3 ER1.  It is not scheduled to be implemented in any earlier releases, as there is a workaround.

Workaround:

Once individual Channel Group options have been changed in ClientView, highlight the Routing Configuration object and select the Resource Table button.  This will force a download of the changes which will be reflected in any subsequent calls:
