Create a Dial-Up connection with Diva Media board

Note: The connection example used below is to the Dialogic RAS server in the UK, which can also be used for testing purposes at either 64Kbps or 128Kbps. In order to create your own connection, for example a genuine Internet connection, you will of course need to substitute the number and logon details given to you by your Internet Service Provider.

1. In order to create a 64Kbps dial-up connection follow the step-by-step procedure below.

  • From the Desktop, click on Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Network and Dial-Up connection.
  • Click on the icon named 'Make a new Connection'.
  • At the Network Connection Wizard, click 'Next'.

Setting up a 128Kbps Connection.

If you want to connect at 128kbps you will need to access the 'Properties' of the Internet connection you created above, and then tick both the Diva ISDN channels. Make sure the option 'All devices call the same numbers' is also ticked.
