Boards fail download after applying Linux kernel updates
Symptom
When running Dialogic® PowerMedia™ Host Media Processing Software (HMP), Dialogic® DM3 series Media Boards Boards and Dialogic® HMP Interface Boards (DNI Boards) may fail download after applying Linux kernel updates.
This is typically seen as a license checkout failure:

The license file indicates THIS_HOST, and the server is not
running on this host. If it's running on a different host,
THIS_HOST should be changed to the correct host.

Reason for the issue
Under Linux, DNI boards and DM3-series Media Board drivers are linked to the kernel that is running at the time of installation. If that kernel is changed after installation, then the drivers need to be re-built against the new kernel.
Solution
The only way to re-build the drivers and re-create all required links is to uninstall and re-install the HMP software.
This needs to be done each time the Linux update mechanism upgrades the kernel
