DMG2000 may continuously reboot
Symptom:
Under atypical conditions, a Dialogic® 2000 Media Gateway Series (DMG2000) gateway may continuously reboot.
Reason for the issue:
The power monitoring circuit may trigger a reset to the microprocessor that can cause the DMG2000 gateway to reboot continuously.
Fix / Solution:
Dialogic will rework any affected DMG2000 gateways to modify the power monitoring circuit. This does not affect all systems, therefore this change is being applied only to units that exhibit this intermittent condition and to new production.
It is recommended that customers should contact Dialogic Support prior to obtaining an RMA number to verify that this is the same problem their system is experiencing.
