D4PCIUFEQ and D4PCIU4SEQ require SR6.0 Win SU239 or later
Symptom:
The Dialogic® D4PCIUFEQ Combined Media Board and Dialogic® D4PCIU4SEQ Combined Media Board are RoHS 6/6 boards and are not recognized on SR6.0 Windows Service Update builds prior to SU239. This is not a restriction for other RoHS 6/6 boards.
Reason for the issue:
The D4PCIUFEQ and D4PCIU4SEQ boards incorporate changes that require an updated firmware component to detect and download the boards.
For information purposes :
- the D4PCIUFEQ has 4 channels of voice and fax
- the D4PCIU4SEQ has 4 channels of voice and speech (CSP).
Fix / Solution:
Support for D4PCIUFEQ and D4PCIU4SEQ was added in SR6.0 Win PCI SU 239, it is recommended that the user upgrade to SU239 or later build.
Workaround:
The files in the
attached zip archive can be installed on older SU builds, allowing the boards to detect and download.
- The files should be placed in the dialogic\data directory and the Dialogic Services should be stopped and restarted.
- First backup the existing genboot.fwl and genboot.bin files
- Then apply the genboot.fwl and genboot.bin files in the attached zip archive
