Upgrading to the latest Diva Client Driver

This process should be followed if the following two conditions apply:

  • You have physically installed the Diva client card and Windows 2000/XP has automatically installed a driver for it.
  • You have downloaded the latest Diva ISDN Client for Windows drivers to a folder on your PC.

NOTE: You must be logged on as ADMINISTRATOR when you perform this procedure. It is not sufficient to be logged on as a user with 'administrator' privileges. You must use the 'administrator' login.

To upgrade the Diva drivers included with Windows 2000/XP to the Diva ISDN Client for Windows follow these steps:

Step 1. First, download the self-extracting file and save it to a folder on your hard disk. The drivers can be downloaded by selecting the appropriate software for your hardware by using the download wizard:

Step 2. Then double-click on the downloaded file to expand it into all the files it contains.

Step 3. Double click on the file UPGRADE.EXE which will appear in the folder after extraction. This will start the upgrade program.

Step 4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
