Installing the Diva USB

Simply plug in the USB cable between the PC and the Diva USB. Windows 2000/XP detects the adapter automatically installs the built-in driver.
The Diva USB is a full Plug and Play adapter, and requires no device configuration. Windows automatically detects whenever the adapter is plugged in or out.

To install the Diva client driver under Windows 2000/XP please follow the instructions as described on the page Upgrading the built-in driver.

When you connect the Diva USB ISDN Adapter to the USB port on your PC, the green LED nearest the USB port should come on after a few seconds. The orange LED near the ISDN port indicates that the ISDN line is working. Finally, the green LED near the ISDN port indicates when one or more calls are active.

After you have upgraded the drivers, the behaviour of the LEDs near the ISDN port changes. Each LED represents one B-channel, so one LED comes on when you have a connection using one B-channel, and both LEDs will come on when you have a connection using both B-channels.
