Getting started with DMG4000 SBA in a Lync environment

A Survivable Branch Appliance (SBA) can provide effective and reliable connectivity for a branch office. The Dialogic® 4000 Media Gateway Survivable Branch Appliances host survivable UC server software and integrate TDM and SIP media gateway functionality for local PSTN connectivity. If the corporate WAN and central UC services become unavailable, the DMG4000 SBA provides business continuity for branch office workers and local PSTN service connectivity.

In a Microsoft Lync environment, a DMG4000 gateway can be used as SBA if it is running DMG 4000 Service Update 4 or Service Update 4.1 software.
