Configure Line Type

Configuring your Diva Client Card according to your ISDN Line Type 

You can set the following parameters under the properties of the device in Device manager.

Basic Rate, direct connection to Telco via NT1 wall-socket, point to multi-point connection
(This means that you are able to have multiple ISDN devices on the line) 
Also known as 'Standard', 'S-mode', and also 'Mehrgeraeteanschluss'
  • TEI = Automatic
  • Connect mode = No disc
  • Direct Dial In (NT2) = OFF

Basic Rate, connected to local PABX, with a point to point connection
(This means that you are not able to have multiple ISDN devices on the line) 
Connected via wall socket to private exchange (PABX)
  • TEI = 0
  • Connect mode = No disc
  • Direct Dial In (NT2) = ON

Basic Rate, directly connected to Telco via NT1 wall-socket, point to point connection
(This means that you are not able to have multiple ISDN devices on the line) 
Also known as 'T-mode', or 'Anlagenanschluss'
  • TEI = 0
  • Connect mode = No disc
  • Direct Dial In (NT2) = ON

Basic Rate, connected to local PABX, with a point to multi-point connection
(This means that you are able to have multiple ISDN devices on the line) 
Connected via wall socket to private exchange (PABX)
  • TEI = Automatic
  • Connect mode = No disc
  • Direct Dial In (NT2) = OFF
